UCHealth in Formal Talks with Cheyenne Hospital

The Board of Trustees for Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Cheyenne, Wyo. has unanimously voted to begin negotiations with UCHealth to create a management services agreement between the two organizations.  The agreement will keep CRMC independent and honor its commitment to the greater Cheyenne community.

In January 2017, CRMC announced that it would be in search of a partner to assist in the management of the hospital into the future.   A 25-member diverse stakeholder, planning committee was formed to oversee the project.  Each of the three finalists bidding for the contract has a strong presence in Colorado:  Centura, HCA/HealthONE and the successful bidder, UCHealth.
