St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center to Close NICU & Birthing Center

St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo has been delivering and caring for babies for 135 years.  Hospital leadership has announced that as of December 15 the facility will no longer offer this service to Pueblo families.  This follows on the heels of the closing in August of its acute impatient rehabilitation unit.

A spokesperson from Pueblo’s other hospital, Parkview Medical Center, has assured the community that it is geared to handle the added demands for service.
