VA Hospital Sets Opening Date

The Department of Veterans Affairs has set August 11, 2018 as the opening date for its new Aurora Hospital.  Eight years in construction, the new hospital will have a price tag that is triple original project estimates.  The hospital is now expected to cost nearly $1.7 billion.

The 12-building, 1.2 million-sq.ft.,  state-of-the-art medical campus  is spread across 31 acres at the intersection of Interstate 225 and Colfax Avenue in Aurora.
