DOI to Help Puerto Ricans with Claims

The Colorado Division of Insurance will be sending two of its own to Puerto Rico to help expedite the filing of insurance claims for residents that are still dealing with the aftermath of hurricanes from  five months ago.

The two Colorado representatives will be part of a national effort to support Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands sponsored by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).   It will unite employees from other states’ divisions of insurance in the humanitarian effort.  This is the third such endeavor since September 2017.
