Coloradan Nominated as Assistant Secretary at HHS

Lynn A. Johnson has been nominated by the Trump administration to serve as Assistant Secretary for Family Support at the Department of Health and Human Services.  She currently serves as the executive director of Human Services in Jefferson County.

Johnson has a lengthy resume of service to Colorado.  She was chief of staff to former Lieutenant Governor Jane Norton and served Governor Bill Owen’s administration as deputy director of policy and human services.   The appointment requires a confirmation process before she can take over the new position.
