Former CEO at University of Colorado Hospital Dies

Former CEO of University of Colorado Hospital (Colorado General Hospital), Robert M. Dickler, has passed away at the age of 72.  He headed the then Colorado General Hospital from 1981 to 1987.  After his time in Colorado, he spent the next five years  as general director of the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic and assistant VP of its Academic Health Center.

In 1992, Mr. Dickler accepted the position of senior vice president of the Division of Health Care Affairs  at the Association of American Medical Colleges.  He was later promoted to chief health care officer for the association until his retirement in 2009.
