Pikes Peak Regional Hospital Officially a UCHealth Facility

Effective April 1, Pikes Peak Regional Hospital (PPRH) is now officially a part of UCHealth’s network.  PPRH is a 15-bed critical access hospital in Woodland Park.  Before the transition, it was held by Boston-based Steward Health Care System LLC.   Steward is the nation’s largest privately held hospital company.  Steward acquired Pikes Peak Regional Hospital in its merger with IASIS Healthcare, previous owner of the facility.

Pikes Peak Regional opened in 2006 and primarily serves Teller, Park, and El Paso County residents. It has partnered with UCHealth Medical Group in the provision of patient care in specialty areas for several years.
