Home Care of the Grand Valley CEO Retires

Sue Brown, co-founder and CEO of Grand Junction-based Home Care of the Grand Valley will retire at the end of the month.  She along with other community leaders established the community-based, non-profit home health care agency in 2002.  It provides full-service, medical and basic care to residents of all ages across a five county region on the Western Slope.

Home Care of the Grand Valley has been honored as one of the few home care agencies in the country to have performed in the top 500 over the past 11 years according to the industry rating service, Ability/Homecare Elite.   The HOMECARE Elite ratings are based on information from CMS including QUALITY data and financial soundness data.  It is annually also among the top 5 ranked home health care agencies (5 STAR) in the state.
