Nursing Market in Colorado

This week is National Nurses Week.  National research firm, WalletHub, has released its annual survey comparing the nursing market in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia on 21 different metrics to analyze the nursing job market in each location.   Data from a variety of independent sources was used to determine the rankings.

“2018’s Best & Worst States for Nurses” review places Colorado in the 10th position overall.   With 1 equaling the best and 25 average,  some of the key rankings for the State include: A. 4th – monthly average starting salary for nurses (cost of living adjusted).  B. 22nd – Average annual salary for nurses (COL adjusted).   C.  14th – nurses per capita.  D.  16th – Nursing-job openings per capita.
