Administration Says No to Lifetime Limits on Medicaid

The Trump administration has stated that it will not approve requests from states to put lifetime limits on Medicaid coverage.  Several states including Arizona, Kansas, Utah and Wisconsin have approached the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service requesting some form of lifetime limits on benefits.

The administration has made it a priority to give more control of  Medicaid programs to each individual state; however, the lifetime limits issue does not appear to be negotiable at this time.
