Two Colorado Hospitals Rebrand

Two Colorado hospitals have rebranded to better define their expanded roles within their local communities.

Rangely District Hospital is sporting the new name  Rangely Community Medical Health and Wellness Center.   The name was selected following a renaming contest held by staff members at the hospital.  Originally opened in 1947, the hospital  moved to a new facility in 2013.   It is designated a Level IV Trauma Center by the State of Colorado.

Estes Park Medical Center will now be known as Estes Park Health.   The hospital is a 23-bed critical access acute care facility.  It was originally chartered by the city of Estes Park in 1975 as the Elizabeth Knutsson Memorial Hospital.
