Chodkowski Says Farewell to St. Anthony Summit Medical Center

Paul Chodkowski was the first CEO of St. Anthony Summit Medical Center when it opened to the public in 2005.  He retired from that position earlier this month but will continue to live part time in Summit County.  Chodkowski has spent his career in administration of Catholic facilities from coast to coast.  Prior to coming to Summit County, he was the CEO of St. Clare’s hospital in Schenectady, New York.  Prior to the hospital’s opening, he headed the medical clinic that predated the current medical center.

The hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Marshall Denkinger, will serve as interim CEO while parent company, Centura Health, recruits a permanent replacement.
