On September 20, Denver Health celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Outpatient Medical Center to be located on its current campus at 660 Bannock Street. The 293,000 sq.ft. facility will house several of Denver Health’s specialty clinics and services in a single, state-of-the-art building.
One half of the $157 million construction price tag will come from a citywide bond measure passed by Denver voters in November 2017. Denver voters approved a package of $937 million in General Obligation bonds to fund improvements to Denver’s transportation, health care, safety, parks, public and cultural facilities. Denver Public Works anticipated that the new facility will double the clinic capacity of Denver Health.
