Yampa Valley Hospital CEO Announces Retirement

Frank May, CEO of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs has announced his retirement plans.  May has been with the medical center for the past 20 years serving in a variety of C-level positions including COO, CFO, interim CEO and eight years as CEO.  His last day will be December 31.

UCHealth will conduct a national search for his replacement.  In the interim, YVMC’s chief operating officer, Soniya Fidler will serve as interim president and the interim CEO will be Dr. Tom Downes who currently serves as chief medical officer for both Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, and Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
