Kendrick Mason Howard, M.D. passed away on January 12, 2019 at the age of 86.  A Denver native, Dr. Howard received his medical degree from the University of Colorado as well as completing  an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at the medical school.  He had an orthopaedic practice in Englewood and Littleton for 21 years.

Dr. Howard was recognized by the Physician Insurance Association of America with its Peter Sweetland Award of Excellence for his commitment to his professional colleagues and to the people they serve.  (PIAA was renamed the Medical Professional Liability Association in 2018.)
