Two Southern Colorado Hospitals Join MD Anderson Network

Penrose Saint Francis Health Services in Colorado Springs and Saint Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo have been designated certified members of the MD Anderson Cancer network.  A vigorous review process preceded the certification.  Following Saint Mary-Corwin’s reorganization last year, the hospital decided to emphasize a handful of services into its future, one of which was becoming a regional cancer center.

Centura Health System and Banner Health at McKee Medical Center in Loveland and North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley are currently part of the network in Colorado.  MD Anderson is consistently nationally ranked among the top three cancer treatment organizations by U.S. News & World Report and was ranked the No. 1 hospital for cancer care in the nation in the publication’s “2018/2019 Best Hospitals” survey.
