Whitney Connor Embarks on New Challenge

Whitney Connor, senior program officer for health at Rose Community Foundation has accepted a new position.  She will be the next executive director of Kids First Health Care.   The nonprofit organization established in 1978 operates eight pediatric and adolescent clinics in Adams County to provide high-quality, and accessible care to infants, children and teens.  Six of the clinics are school-based health centers.

While at Rose Community Foundation, Connor oversaw the foundation’s strategic philanthropy efforts in the seven-county Denver metro area.  She was particularly instrumental in developing collaborative partnership with other funders to address early childhood mental health concerns.
