New Brand, Same Commitment to serve Nurse Leaders

At its 2019 annual meeting, the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) changed its name and logo to better reflect its leadership role in the health care community.  It will now be known as the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.  The new logo (at right) was designed to emphasize the diversity within the organization’s membership and to highlight how each segment of the profession comes together to form a greater whole.

The organization began in 1967 as the American Society for Hospital Nursing Service Administrators.  It has grown over the years to now boast a membership in excess of 9,800 members with the goal of advancing health in America.

The new branding will go into effect in mid-May.
