Dr. Krugman’s Replacement Has Been Named.

The University of Colorado has named its next dean of the School of Medicine, Dr. John J. Reilly Jr., former chair of the University of Pittsburgh’s department of medicine and a pulmonary expert. Dr. Reilly will also serve as the university’s vice chancellor for health affairs.

He replaces Dr. Richard Krugman, who has held the position of Dean since 1992, and holds the distinction of being the longest-serving dean of a U.S. medical school.
